Ideas for activities, 

 

Literacy- writing invites, shopping lists, diary entry and maybe a speech to give at the party.

Maths- budget for decorations, games, food (using the rationing budget sheet) and drink for party.

Science-try a rationing recipe...egg less cakes or one of the meals ie blind scouse. 

History: see if you can find out what school life was like in May 1945....dare your parents to teach you in that style. 

Art/DT- create decorations

Music- learn the songs

PE- learn to jive 

IT video/ pictures 

 

Make a scrap book to share with friends when we return to school ‘How we celebrated at home’.
