Spring 1

This half term we will be learning all about winter and cold places. We will be learning about Arctic animals and all the different species of penguins. We will be learning about snow and snowflakes and experimenting with ice. 

In maths we will be exploring mass and capacity, becoming masters of the numbers 6, 7, and 8 and exploring time, learning the days of the week and sequencing. 

In phonics we will be learning set 1 special friends sh, ch, th, ng, nk, ck and reading the red tricky words: the, I, of, my, to and no.

We will be going to the library and enjoying lots of great books! 

To finish the half term we have organised a trip to Imagine That to take part in the snow workshop!

We can't wait to start our new adventure!
