Nursery Applications

We are excited to be in the early stages of developing our new nursery and look forward to welcoming families soon. While some details are still being finalised, we understand that parents and carers may already have questions about what to expect. To support you at this stage, we have provided answers to some of the most commonly asked questions below, which we hope will give you a helpful overview of our vision, values, and planned provision.

 

When will the nursery open?

King David Nursery is due to open on Monday 7th September, term dates will follow in line with the school. 

 

How can I use my 30 hours?

Monday - Thursday-  8.20am-3.00pm-  26 hours 40 minutes (staying for lunch - £4.00 per day) 

Friday - 8.20 - 11.40am - with the option to stay for lunch and the afternoon (£4.00 plus £17.50 for the remaining 2 hours 20 minutes) 

Cost £37.50 per week to attend the nursery with a 30 hour funded place. 

 

How can I use my 15 hours?

Monday - Friday - 8.20am-11.20am (£1 for snack per day)

 

Will my child wear a uniform?

How do I apply?

To apply please complete our application form located at the top of this page. We offer places in September and January, pupils can start the term after they turn 3. 

 

Can my child attend wrap around care?

Yes, we will be offering wrap around care at an additional cost to all nursery pupils. We have not finalised the layout of our ASC but if you are interested please complete an ASC form which can be found at the bottom of this page. Once completed the form should be emailed to KDPS_ASC@kingdavidliverpool.co.uk 

 

Can I mix my days or reduce hours? 

No, the hours can only be used as offered and must be committed to , if your child does not attend regularly we can remove them from role.
