Book Reviews

Our very own Grammar Grace has been extremely busy over the past few weeks, working her way through a fantastic series of books. She was so inspired by the stories that she has created a review for each book in the series. We are delighted to be able to share Grace's amazing work with you.

If you would like to recommend a book/series of books, please create a book review and send it to us via your portfolio on class dojo. We will add all book reviews to this page.

Check out this fantastic review from Charlie about ‘Escape from Shanghai-La’ by Michael Morpurgo.
Isabella has written a fantasy review of ‘Millions’ by Frank Cottrell-Boyce. The range of emotions it draws out definitely makes it one to read.
Primrose has written two fantastic book reviews based on ‘The Highland Falcon Thief’ and ‘Otto Tattercoat and the Forest of Lost Things’. Reading these reviews has definitely inspired us to pick up these books!
Rachel has been busy reviewing a series of six novels for us. The books are based on the adventures of 16-year-old, Maud.
An amazing review from Jaye, who has been enjoying S. A. Patrick’s first novel for children called ‘A Darkness of Dragons’.
Isabella has written a review about an historical fiction novel based on the Titanic. It is written in the form of a diary and has certainly captured Isabella’s interest.
