Review the sounds learnt so far and play Flashcards: Speed Trial and Flashcards: Time Challenge.
Practise the alternative spellings for the ‘f’ phoneme.
Write the grapheme ‘f’ together. Read the following words together and identify the different graphemes; fix, cliff, phone, cough.
Read the following sentences
The dolphin flaps his fins.
The fox huffs and puffs and coughs.
Get off the phone!
Challenge your child to use the f phoneme spotter.

Read the following words together and identify the different graphemes; grow, stereo, alone, gloat, toast, toe, snow, though
Read the following sentences
The old toast is as hard as stone.
Will you moan if your phone is thrown out of the window?
Will a bad throat or a bad toe make you croak like a toad?
Challenge your child to cut out and sort the oa sorting words into the oa sorting grid or play word sort.
